For job seekers

Do you also offer work to freelancers?

Absolutely! We are very flexible and familiar with different scenarios. Working with us as a freelancer (zzp’er) is no problem at all, but we do need to find a suitable place for you.

I don't see a vacancy that suits me, are there other opportunities?

For sure! Sometimes we have CVs that are a good fit for a company we know well. Maybe they don’t have vacancies open, but they could use someone like you. With our extensive network, we can often find something that fits your wishes.

Are there opportunities for long-term jobs?

Yes, definitely! We have several clients who are looking for long-term workers. While some need temporary workers, most are actually looking for long-term staff. So with us, both are possible, depending on your wishes and those of the client!

How and when will I be paid?

We pay on Thursdays. You choose whether you are paid weekly or every four weeks.

How much can I expect to earn?

As a member of the NBBU, we follow the collective labour agreement for wages. Your pay depends on the scale and step you are placed in, which are agreed in advance. Your step depends on your experience, the scale on the position you hold. More responsibility and relevant training often mean a higher scale.

How quickly will you contact me?

As soon as we receive your registration or CV, we aim to contact you within one working day. In a short telephone conversation we discuss your experience and wishes.

Do I need a VCA certificate?

For most positions a VCA certificate is a plus, or we ask whether you are willing to obtain one. If you do not yet have all the required certificates, you can obtain them through us.

Do you arrange housing?

Yes, we arrange housing if needed. Our housing meets the SNF standards: spacious living quarters with sufficient sanitary facilities, fire-safe with smoke detectors and regular checks, and separate bedrooms with access to common areas.

Do I get work clothing and tools?

Yes. We provide the necessary work clothing, (power) tools and personal protective equipment, so you are well prepared for work.

How do I submit my hours worked?

Every week you submit your hours through our app. The client approves them and you are paid on Thursday, weekly or every four weeks.

Do you speak my language?

We have multilingual colleagues to make communication easy, and on the construction site we put language stickers on the helmets so everyone understands each other. This website is available in Dutch, English, Polish and Romanian.
